Neuroshima Hex: Pirates
Some people can thwart even Moloch’s and Neo-Jungle’s plans. Those here used to sail on ships, but switched to motor boats. They are always hungry for riches, good rum and (above all) picking a fight. The pirates are coming to kick some landmen’s asses!
Pirates is the next expansion to the legendary area control game about the world of Neuroshima. The new army is flying under the black flag, has water cannons, harpoons, but one thing they don’t have—a good captain!
Stand at the helm and lead your pirates to board. Expand the standard Battlefield thanks to innovative Water Fields and use the Drift trait of your units to plan each next turn in advance. So, are you signing up for this adventure? There will be no shortage of rum!
Basilica
In Renaissance Florence, a basilica unlike anything the world has ever seen is being built. Two architects are delegated to work on it. The first is on behalf of the queen, and the second is on behalf of the diocesan bishop. One of them will enjoy splendor and wealth, and the other will be forever forgotten.
The legendary Basilica is back in a new, refreshed form! Łukasz M. Pogoda’s game (ORP Orzeł, Savanna) has a new version, and within it a mini-extension: Festum Fatuorum, with special Basilica tiles and Altar tokens.
Build more fragments of the vault, give orders to builders, and when necessary…copy your opponent’s moves. After all, if you want to be famous, all the tricks are allowed.
Imperial Setters: Empires of the North — Wrath of the Lighthouse
The counselor of the South Shore has passed away. The Emperor declared it your task to take care of the neglected villages of this abandoned land. Restore old buildings, revitalize the trade routes, and discover the truth behind local myths and legends about the wrath of the lighthouses… Empires of the North: Wrath of the Lighthouse is a story-driven solo campaign for the award-winning engine building card game Empires of the North.
The expansion comes with 15 unique solo scenarios played in the order corresponding with the story included in the Campaign book. When playing the campaign mode, players gain access to the new type of cards including Event cards, Legacy locations cards that last from one game to another, and Lighthouses cards that are shuffled to Island decks. Additionally, each of the scenarios can be played individually, just like the scenarios in the base game.
In story mode, you will play alongside a Campaign book and slowly discover how the plot unfolds. Why is the number of lighthouses on the coast increasing? Why do the people so strongly oppose the cathedral being rebuilt? And those seas constantly assaulted by storms…
Empires of the North: Wrath of the Lighthouse is designed by Joanna Kijanka, co-designer of the base game and all previously released expansions to the game. The expansion includes 55 cards, a Scenario booklet with 15 unique scenarios, and a Campaign book with more than 50 story branches.
Brazil: Imperial
Take on the role of one of the great monarchs of the past, and show your valor! You will arrive in a vast and rich territory, but the road to prosperity is filled with challenges.
In Brazil: Imperial, you need to construct buildings, manage resources, explore the land, create trade, acquire the support of the greatest personalities of the country, and recruit a powerful army to protect your interests against the rival states. If you make the right choices, you can complete missions to progress to a more advanced era, receiving new and interesting options for development and victory points. In the end, the best monarch receives the title of Brazilian Emperor and constructs a new era of prosperity, freedom, and peace!
In more detail, while playing on a modular map board that recreates real regions, you use a combination of worker placement, area majority, and individual powers to construct an empire in Brazil between the 16th and 19th centuries. You start by choosing one of the available monarchs and its personal game board and components; some monarchs are strong in combat, while others prioritize science or exploration. You receive tasks that advance your progress when you complete them, giving you access to more power constructions as you move into the second and third eras of the game.
Eleven
There is no other sport like this. Nothing evokes such emotions, nothing causes such publicity, and nothing brings as much income as football. But it is one thing to sit in the stands, and another to stand on the pitch, and another to watch everything from the side. Managing a club is a hell of a job…
Time to get ready for the match! Eleven is a strategic game by Thomas Jansen (Club Stories, Tavern, Streetpainball) set in the world of football. You own a football club and have six weeks ahead of you. What season will it be for you? Relative stability? Disgusting failures? Or maybe you will fight for victory in the league.
Proper management of club resources will allow you to carry out further transfers, train players, hire new employees, acquire sponsors, and expand your own stadium—all this to ensure that your team is ready to win on the decisive day of the match. Hire the right people in the right position, and make your club invincible. Are you ready for kick-off?
